About Rieks Pepping.

Rieks Pepping (Zuidlaarderveen, 1949) has been an independent artist since 1976 and has been living and working since 1981 in the church of Jukwerd. He paints, draws and teaches drawing / painting to adults.

The church stands on a mound in the hamlet of Jukwerd, just outside the built-up area of ​​Appingedam.

The drawing / painting courses are given in the studio.

Since 2013 Annemiek de Jong also lives and works in the church.
